In June 2015 195 homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 12.1% increase from the 174 homes sold in May and the highest sales total of any month since June 2006. The June 2015 sales figures increased 11.4% from June 2014 when 175 homes sold in the Lake Norman area.
The average sales price increased 1.2% from $495,849 in May to $501,611 in June. The June 2015 average sales price decreased .5% from the June 2014 average sales price which was $503,989.
Average days on the market increased 6.2% from 81 days on the market in May to 86 days on the market in June. June 2014 average days on the market were 85, a 1.2% increase in market time.
Currently there are 1002 homes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, down 2.1% from June. The average list price is $675,049 up 1.5% from the June average list price of $665,366. The average days on the market are 164. 325 Lake Norman homes are currently under contract, down 6.3% from June.

Lake Norman Condos & Townhomes
In June 2015 25 condos/townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 21.9% decrease from the 32 condos or townhomes sold in May 2015. June 2015 sales figures decreased 16.7% from June 2014 when 30 Lake Norman condos sold.
The average sales price decreased 4.4% from $209,670 in May 2014 to $200,516 in June 2015. The June 2015 average sales price increased 12.4% from the June 2014 average sales price which was $178,330.
Average days on the market decreased 22.1% from 86 in May to 67 in June. June 2014 average days on the market were 54, a 24.1% increase in market time.
Currently there are 136 condo/townhomes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, a 3.5% decrease from the 141 condos for sale in June. The average list price is $244,867, up .05% from June’s average list price of $244,729. The average days on the market are 104. 47 Lake Norman condos/townhomes are currently under contract, a 4.4% increase from June.

In June 2015 33 lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 17.9% increase from the 28 lots sold in May. June 2015 sales figures increased 83.3% from June 2014 when 18 Lake Norman lots sold.
The average sales price increased 5.6% from $164,996 in May to $174,262 in June. The June 2015 average sales price increased 30.9% from the June 2014 average sales price which was $133,167.
Average days on the market decreased 61.5% from 239 in May to 92 in June. The June 2014 average days on the market were 213, a 56.8% decrease in market time versus the same time period last year.
Currently there are 794 lots for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, an increase of .5% from June. The average list price is $250,694, up 3.1% from June’s average list price of $243,096. The average days on the market are 436. 47 Lake Norman area lots are currently under contract, a 24.2% decrease from June.
