In May 2015 39 waterfront homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 8.3% increase from the 36 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold in April 2015. May 2015 Lake Norman waterfront home sales figures decreased 13.3% from May 2014 when 45 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold.
The average sales price increased 32.9% from $705,117 in April to $936,904 in May . The May 2015 average sales price increased 15.4% from the May 2014 average sales price which was $812,192.
Average days on the market increased from 161 in April to 111 in May , a 31.1% decrease in market time. The May 2014 average days on the market were 140, a 20.7% increase in market time.
Currently there are 490 Lake Norman waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 81 of those under contract, down 12.9% from May. The average list price is $1,063,456, up 1.3% from May. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $89,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $7,950,000.

Lake Norman Waterfront Condos & Townhomes
In May 2015 18 waterfront condos or townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 38.5% increase from the 13 Lake Norman waterfront condos sold in April. May 2015 sales figures increased 157.1% from May 2014 when 7 waterfront condos sold.
The average sales price increased 2.2% from $230,992 in April to $236,142 in May. The May 2015 average sales price increased 12.1% from the May 2014 average sales price which was $210,629.
Average days on the market increased .9% from 103 in April to 104 in May. The May 2014 average days on the market were 134, a 22.4% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 66 Lake Norman waterfront condos listed in the MLS with 18 of those under contract, a 16.7% decrease from May. The average list price is $285,941, up 6.5% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $133,500 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $830,000.

The average sales price was $409,750, up 57.8% from the April average sales price which was $259,714. May 2015 sales figures increased 14.3% from May 2014 when 7 Lake Norman waterfront lots sold. The average sales price increased 42.7% from the May 2014 average sales price of $287,071.
The average days on the market increased 51.5% from 194 days in April to 294 days on the market in May. Days on the market were up 92.2% from May 2014 when the average was 153 days on the market.
Currently there are 273 Lake Norman waterfront lots listed in the MLS with 26 of those currently under contract. The average list price is $426,329, up 2% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $45,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $3,900,000.
