In April 2015 36 waterfront homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 33% increase from the 27 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold in March 2015. April 2015 Lake Norman waterfront home sales figures increased 38.5% from April 2014 when 26 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold.
The average sales price increased 2% from $691,113 in March to $705,117 in April. The April 2015 average sales price decreased 12.2% from the April 2014 average sales price which was $802,870.
Average days on the market increased from 113 in March to 161 in April, a 42.5% increase in market time. The April 2014 average days on the market were 116, a 38.8% increase in market time.
Currently there are 483 Lake Norman waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 93 of those under contract, up 17.7% from April. The average list price is $1,050,108, down 1% from April. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $100,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $5,400,000.

Lake Norman Waterfront Condos & Townhomes
In April 2015 13 waterfront condos or townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 160% increase from the 5 Lake Norman waterfront condos sold in March. April 2015 sales figures increased 44.4% from April 2014 when 9 waterfront condos sold.
The average sales price increased 17.3% from $196,900 in March to $230,992 in April. The April 2015 average sales price decreased 13.7% from the April 2014 average sales price which was $267,722.
Average days on the market decreased 25.4% from 138 in March to 103 in April. The April 2014 average days on the market were 158, a 34.8% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 73 Lake Norman waterfront condos listed in the MLS with 21 of those under contract, a 10.5% increase from April. The average list price is $268,553, up 1.1% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $124,750 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $830,000.

In April 7 waterfront lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 50% decrease from the 14 waterfront lots sold in March. The average sales price was $259,714, down 17.8% from the March average sales price which was $315,957. April 2015 sales figures decreased 30% from April 2014 when 10 Lake Norman waterfront lots sold. The average sales price increased 1.3% from the April 2014 average sales price of $256,425.
The average days on the market decreased 33% from 290 days in March to 194 days on the market in April. Days on the market were up 26% from April 2014 when the average was 154 days on the market.
Currently there are 260 Lake Norman waterfront lots listed in the MLS with 28 of those currently under contract. The average list price is $417,838, down 9% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $45,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $3,900,000.
