In April 2015 137 homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 7% increase from the 128 homes sold in March and the highest April sales total since April 2006. The April 2015 sales figures increased 8.7% from April 2014 when 126 homes sold in the Lake Norman area.
The average sales price increased 13.2% from $406,677 in March to $460,424 in April. The April 2015 average sales price decreased 7.5% from the April 2014 average sales price which was $428,281.
Average days on the market increased 21.3% from 89 days on the market in March to 108 days on the market in April. April 2014 average days on the market were 109, a .9% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 1000 homes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, up 5.7% from April. The average list price is $652,951 down 7.5% from the April average list price of $705,700. The average days on the market are 164. 377 Lake Norman homes are currently under contract, up 8.3% from April.

Lake Norman Condos & Townhomes
In April 2015 33 condos/townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 32% increase from the 25 condos or townhomes sold in March 2015. April 2015 sales figures increased 43.5% from April 2014 when 23 Lake Norman condos sold.
The average sales price increased 3.5% from $185,416 in March 2014 to $191,977 in April 2015. The April 2015 average sales price decreased 14.1% from the April 2014 average sales price which was $223,387.
Average days on the market decreased 6.1% from 82 in March to 77 in April. April 2014 average days on the market were 107, a 28% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 137 condo/townhomes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, a 29% increase from the 106 condos for sale in April. The average list price is $241,677, up 2.4% from April’s average list price of $236,090. The average days on the market are 107. 39 Lake Norman condos/townhomes are currently under contract, an 18.2% increase from April.

Lake Norman Lots
In April 2015 18 lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 25% decrease from the 24 lots sold in March. April 2015 sales figures decreased 25% from April 2014 when 24 Lake Norman lots sold.
The average sales price decreased 34.2% from $222,233 in March to $146,132 in April. The April 2015 average sales price increased .3% from the April 2014 average sales price which was $145,724.
Average days on the market decreased 20.6% from 233 in March to 185 in April. The April 2014 average days on the market were 315, a 41% decrease in market time versus the same time period last year.
Currently there are 758 lots for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, an increase of 3% from April. The average list price is $242,374, down 5.4% from April’s average list price of $256,197. The average days on the market are 443. 64 Lake Norman area lots are currently under contract, a 7.3% decrease from April.
