Lake Norman Homes
In March 2015 128 homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 48.8% increase from the 86 homes sold in February and the highest March sales total since March 2007. The March 2015 sales figures increased 37.6% from March 2014 when 93 homes sold in the Lake Norman area.
The average sales price decreased 11% from $456,841 in February to $406,677 in March. The March 2015 average sales price decreased 19.5% from the March 2014 average sales price which was $505,204.
Average days on the market decreased 23.9% from 117 days on the market in February to 89 days on the market in March. March 2014 average days on the market were 106, a 16% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 946 homes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, up 7.9% from February. The average list price is $705,700 up $70 from the February average list price of $705,630. The average days on the market are 173. 348 Lake Norman homes are currently under contract, up 31.8% from February.

Lake Norman Condos & Townhomes
In March 2015 25 condos/townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 8.76% increase from the 23 condos or townhomes sold in February 2015. March 2015 sales figures increased 108.3% from March 2014 when 12 Lake Norman condos sold.
The average sales price increased 2.1% from $181,653 in February 2014 to $185,416 in March 2015. The March 2015 average sales price increased .4% from the March 2014 average sales price which was $184,742.
Average days on the market increased 6.5% from 77 in February to 82 in March. March 2014 average days on the market were 165, a 50.3% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 106 condo/townhomes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, a 24.7% increase from the 85 condos for sale in February. The average list price is $236,090, down 1.5% from February’s average list price of $239,784. The average days on the market are 116. 33 Lake Norman condos/townhomes are currently under contract, a 13.8% increase from February.

Lake Norman Lots
In March 2015 24 lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 33% increase from the 18 lots sold in February. March 2015 sales figures increased 26.3% from March 2014 when 19 Lake Norman lots sold.
The average sales price increased 13.1% from $196,578 in February to $222,233 in March. The March 2015 average sales price increased 297% from the March 2014 average sales price which was $55,974.
Average days on the market increased 27.3% from 183 in February to 233 in March. The March 2014 average days on the market were 382, a 39% decrease in market time versus the same time period last year.
Currently there are 736 lots for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, an increase of .8% from February. The average list price is $256,197, up .1% from February’s average list price of $255,814. The average days on the market are 438. 69 Lake Norman area lots are currently under contract, a 43.8% increase from February.
