In February 2015 22 waterfront homes sold in the Lake Norman area, an 10% increase from the 20 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold in January 2015. February 2015 Lake Norman waterfront home sales figures increased 37.5% from February 2014 when 16 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold.
The average sales price increased 9.7% from $754,071 in January to $827,541 in February. The February 2015 average sales price increased 5.1% from the February 2014 average sales price which was $787,094.
Average days on the market increased from 126 in January to 148 in February, a 17.5% increase in market time. The February 2014 average days on the market were 112, a 32.1% increase in market time.
Currently there are 386 Lake Norman waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 68 of those under contract, up 8% from January. The average list price is $1,072,582, up 2% from January. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $177,777 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $5,400,000.

Lake Norman Waterfront Condos & Townhomes
In February 2015 6 waterfront condos or townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 20% increase from the 5 Lake Norman waterfront condos sold in January. February 2015 sales figures increased 500% from February 2014 when 1 waterfront condos sold.
The average sales price decreased 25.6% from $312,000 in January 2014 to $232,000 in February. The February 2015 average sales price decreased 3.3% from the February 2014 average sales price which was $240,000.
Average days on the market decreased 63.3% from 177 in January to 65 in February. The February 2014 average days on the market were 108, a 39.8% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 59 Lake Norman waterfront condos listed in the MLS with 12 of those under contract, a 33% increase from January. The average list price is $261,397, up 3.1% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $124,500 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $495,000.

Lake Norman Waterfront Lots
In February 7 waterfront lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 41.7% decrease from the 12 waterfront lots sold in January. The average sales price was $414,500, up 6% from the January average sales price which was $391,058. February 2015 sales figures increased 250% from February 2014 when 2 Lake Norman waterfront lots sold. The average sales price increased 15.1% from the February 2014 average sales price of $360,000.
The average days on the market decreased 2.1% from 190 days in January to 186 days on the market in February. Days on the market were down 52.6% from February 2014 when the average was 392 days on the market.
Currently there are 248 Lake Norman waterfront lots listed in the MLS with 26 of those currently under contract. The average list price is $463,529, up 2.3% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $53,900 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $5,900,000.
