In October 2017 45 waterfront homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 25% decrease from the 60 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold in September 2017. October 2017 Lake Norman waterfront home sales figures increased 18.4% from October 2016 when 38 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold.

The average sales price increased 14.5% from $889,568 in September to $1,018,911 in October. The October 2017 average sales price increased 30.5% from the October 2016 average sales price which was $780,493.

Average days on the market increased from 121 in September to 124 in October, a 2.5% increase in market time. The October 2016 average days on the market were 91, a 36.3% increase in market time.

Currently there are 277 active Lake Norman waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 79 also under contract, up 3.9% from October. The average list price is $1,279,019, up 3.8% from October. The lowest priced active Lake Norman waterfront homeis listed at $185,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $7,745,000.
