Lake Norman Homes
In September 2014 150 homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 1.4% increase from the 148 homes sold in August. September 2014 sales figures increased 19% from September 2013 when 126 homes sold in the Lake Norman area. September 2014 sales were the highest for September since 2005 when 177 Lake Norman homes sold!

The average sales price decreased 14.8% from $569,498 in August to $485,197 in September. The September 2014 average sales price increased 4.9% from the September 2013 average sales price which was $462,544.

Average days on the market decreased 19.4% from 103 days in August to 83 days on the market in September. September 2013 average days on the market were 85, a 2.4% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 1,050 homes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, down 4.8% from August. The average list price is $648,418 up 1% from the August average list price of $642,486. The average days on the market are 179. 277 Lake Norman homes are currently under contract, down 8.3% from August.

Lake Norman Condos & Townhomes
In September 2014 27 condos/townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, an 8% increase from the 25 condos or townhomes sold in August 2014. September 2014 sales figures increased 28.6% from September 2013 when 21 Lake Norman condos sold.

The average sales price decreased 2.5% from $200,886 in August 2014 to $195,935 in September 2014. September 2014 average sales price increased 13.9% from the September 2013 average sales price which was $171,983.

Average days on the market increased 59.3% from 59 in August to 94 in September. September 2013 average days on the market were 130.

Currently there are 99 condo/townhomes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area,a 3.9% decrease from the 103 condos for sale in August. The average list price is $229,109, down 1.3% from August’s average list price of $232,054. The average days on the market are 11. 28 Lake Norman condos/townhomes are currently under contract, an 27.3% increase from August.



Lake Norman Lots
In September 2014 18 lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 37.9% decrease from the 29 lots sold in August. September 2014 sales figures increased 5.9% from September 2013 when 17 lots sold.

The average sales price decreased 27.6% from $154,904 in August to $112,172 in September. September 2014 average sales price decreased 5% from the September 2013 average sales price which was $118,056.

Average days on the market decreased 40.7% from 182 in August to 108 in September. September 2013 average days on the market were 183, a 40.8% decrease in market time versus the same time period last year.

Currently there are 727 lots for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area, an decrease of 3.6% from August. The average list price is $245,124, up 1.7% from August’s average list price of $241,012. The average days on the market are 456. 43 Lake Norman area lots are currently under contract, a 22.9% increase from August.
