In August 2015 36 waterfront homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 14.3% decrease from the 42 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold in July 2015. August 2015 Lake Norman waterfront home sales figures decreased 26.5% from August 2014 when 49 Lake Norman waterfront homes sold.
The average sales price decreased 13.4% from $915,870 in July to $792,912 in August. The August 2015 average sales price decreased 20.5% from the August 2014 average sales price which was $996,841.
Average days on the market decreased from 134 in July to 132 in August, a 1.5% decrease in market time. The August 2014 average days on the market were 136, a 2.9% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 437 Lake Norman waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 79 of those under contract, down 11.2% from August. The average list price is $1,127,512, up 3.3% from August. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $177,777 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront home is listed at $7,950,000.

In August 2015 8 waterfront condos or townhomes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 50% decrease from the 16 Lake Norman waterfront condos sold in July. August 2015 sales figures increased 33.3% from August 2014 when 6 Lake Norman waterfront condos sold.
The average sales price decreased 13.3% from $282,656 in July to $244,938 in August. The August 2015 average sales price decreased 14.3% from the August 2014 average sales price which was $285,667.
Average days on the market decreased 16.9% from 83 in July to 69 in August. The August 2014 average days on the market were 47, a 46.8% increase in market time.
Currently there are 49 Lake Norman waterfront condos listed in the MLS with 11 of those under contract, a 0% decrease from August. The average list price is $293,894, down 1.3% from last month. The lowest pricedLake Norman waterfront condo is listed at $129,900 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront condois listed at $795,000.

In August 5 waterfront lots sold in the Lake Norman area, a 50% decrease from the 10 waterfront lots sold in July. The average sales price was $252,900, down 3.4% from the July average sales price which was $261,894. August 2015 sales figures decreased 58.3% from August 2014 when 12 Lake Norman waterfront lots sold. The average sales price decreased 8.9% from the August 2014 average sales price of $277,583.
The average days on the market increased 71% from 207 days in July to 354 days on the market in August. Days on the market were up 114.5% from August 2014 when the average was 165 days on the market.
Currently there are 255 Lake Norman waterfront lots listed in the MLS with 27 of those currently under contract, down 20.6% from August. The average list price is $463,044, up 2.7% from last month. The lowest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $45,000 and the highest priced Lake Norman waterfront lot is listed at $3,900,000.
